getbukd ([Company number / registered address]) (“we”, “us”) runs this website and the free start-up pack it offers. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it. It's written to comply with UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
What we collect, and why
Free pack signups. When you fill in the form on this site, we collect your first name and email address. We use this to send you the free pack by email and, if you tick the consent box, to send you further emails about getbukd. We use Mailchimp to store this information and send these emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Start-up calls. If you book a call with us, this is handled by Calendly and, where payment is taken, our payment provider. Calendly collects your name, email and the details you enter at booking. We only use this to arrange and run the call.
Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use this site, including which pages are visited, roughly where from, and which buttons get clicked. This uses cookies and similar technology. We don't use this data to identify you personally.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent (free pack signups and marketing emails), to perform a contract with you (booking and running a start-up call), and our legitimate interest in understanding how our site is used (analytics). You can withdraw consent at any time; see “Your rights” below.
Who we share data with
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers named above (Mailchimp, Calendly, our payment provider, Google Analytics) so they can provide the service we use them for, and only where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address on our mailing list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Booking and payment records are kept as long as we're required to for accounting and tax purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to: tell you what data we hold about you; correct it if it's wrong; delete it; or stop using it for marketing. To do any of this, email us at hello@getbukd.com or use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK's data regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
